Melior visited Groupama Arena
Melior visited one of the most modern sports and cultural facilities in Europe.
We visited one of the most modern stadiums of Europe, which gives home to Ferencvárosi Torna Club (FTC) and location of international football matches and concerts for tens of thousands of people. In the Arena which was built in a little more than a year the opening match was played in August 2014 when FTC played against Chelsea FC.
As part of the guided tour we peeped behind the scenes of the stadium, we could see the green pitch cared for with the most advanced solutions, the locker rooms and the most exclusive VIP boxes. We learnt that visitor and home team locker rooms are different, in favour of the latter. In the 400 m² locker room for the home team, there is a socket and a safe in all players' locker also there is an ice machine in the shower room. A warm-up room with artificial grass helps the preparation of the players. Here one can find the medical and the massage room too.
The spectacular and tidy lawn is unique, for this a special grass seed mix was created by a Scottish laboratory experimenting with grass. Here, a number of soil samples were analyzed and then a special polypropylene material mixed with fibers was prepared and added to the grass seeds.

At the end of the tour Melior team visited the FTC museum and got to know the history of this football team.
