Az the beginning of 2012 Melior Laser started to supply automotive parts for a multinational company thus gets the opportunity to produce Porsche and Ferrari components.
The first items of the production are manufactured from an aluminium alloy often used in automotive industry but rare in Hungary. Before being built in, the parts undergo a hardening process thus they gain their final mechanical characteristics. This hardening process is a heat treatment procedure which is carried out on each part by the partner. As a result, strength increase can be achieved. In order to prove the necessary strength, tensile test parts must be cut from the raw material, this way the quality of raw material and the heat treatment can be proved.
The Part are manufactured from 2,5mm thick EN AW6181 raw material with laser cutting and edge bending technologies.
