Grinding
Along with the cutting technologies a very important complementary technology is surface finishing. Despite the fact that we can produce a cut surface not requiring post-processing with our laser technology, these techniques enable to obtain a high quality surface finish.
During processing the machine sprays water with anticorrosive additive to the surface of the sheet metal part and dries it when completing the operation. As a result, the components do not get corroded and the customer receives the parts absolutely clean. A stepless speed conveyor belt moves the parts ensuring a smooth and productive processing.
Surface finishing processings:
- Deburring: removing the burrs produced during sheet cutting in a way that the surface of the sheet does not get damaged. Removal of fine bur generated at punching, with cold-forming of the cut edge.l
- Chamfering, rounding off: rounding off the edges of the completed parts by using a lamellar grinding roller without damaging the sheet surface or the protective film.
- Aesthetic polishing, brushing: the aesthetic grinding of the surface following sheet metal machining for flat components.
- Removal of oxide film, preparation of workpieces for painting: the removal of the oxide film formed during flame, plasma and laser cutting; preparation of the component for painting or welding.
- Blast cleaning
Material dimensions: | |
---|---|
Without template | 80x80 mm - 1500x2000 mm |
Max. working thickness | 25 mm |
To process the smaller part, it is necessary to make a template |
Material quality:
- carbon steel, cold rolled sheet
- carbon steel, hot rolled sheet
- steel plate with a surface coating (eg. galvanized sheet)
- corrosion resistant and acid-resistant material (film covered as well)
- sheets with a foil
- aluminium sheet
- brass sheet
