Capacity expansion, technology-development at sheet metal fabricator Melior Laser.

The investment in capacity expansion and technology-development is aimed for strengthen our custom sheet metal supplier status.

With a HUF 315 million investment, partly financed by EU project fund, we refurbished our machinery with welding machines, a large table size TruMatic 6000 combined laser-punch machine and a seven axes Amada HFE M2 press brake. Thanks to the latter bending capacity is increased with 25 %. In order to be able to serve customers as fast as possible, our sheet metal fabrication plant was expanded with a 6 meter high SSI Schäfer LTR600 type pallet racking system. Also three new Jungheinrich forklifts move products to the shelves.

The project resourced the construcion of a 300 m2 industrial gallery, where an assembly department was set up. Thus we are able to produce even more complex sheet metal components.

As a result of the development completed in April 2015, it is possible to manufacture parts which we could not produce before due to lack of the right technology and capacity. Certain parts can be manufactured more cost-effectively. As a result revenue can grow, so as our competitveness and many new jobs are created.
