Stainless steel parts looking good

Monday, 30 January 2017 10:00
In sheet metal fabrication stainless steel is the first choice as raw material if the corrosion resistance and aesthetic appearance are equally important. Meeting with the strict requirements is possible with the highest care and experience from the sheet metal fabricator.

2016 by numbers at Melior Laser

The first post of the year! We take a look back on 2016. Events, results in numbers.

It is the tendency of recent years that the usage of aluminium in the various industrial segments is increasing. The advantageous properties such as light weight and good mechanical properties make aluminium suitable for replacing steel in many cases.

While working in sheet metal fabrication it is often the case that we can closely work together with our customers already in the design phase.
It happenned too in the complex sheet metal part production descibed below. Still in the construction design and feasibility planning phase through technical consultations our engineering team together with the Customer jointly developed the final construction of the sheet metal part to be manufactured.

Our recent sheet metal fabrication film shows the production of a complex sheet metal part package consisting of 12 types of different parts. During the work the tight deadline and the diversity and quantity of the parts set quite a challenge for our team.

Watch our latest sheet metal fabrication video where we show the labeling/printing of an electronic sheet metal part. Please see the details of the printing job after the film.

Watch our new sheet metal fabrication video about a work where combining the lasercutting with mechanical fabrication processes significant cost saving can be achieved due to the shorter production time.

When we take a closer look at the total cost of a sheet metal fabrication project, there are several factors to be considered, which affect the cost structure, thus the final price too.
While the below list is quite comprehensive, there might be, in some cases, other factors to be considered during the quotation process.

Recently, once again we could contribute to another exciting project of the Technical University of Budapest with our sheet metal fabrication knowledge and machinery. This time we delivered lasercut and bent parts for a four-wheel-drive electric car developed by the Formula Racing Team of the University.

Customers would like to receive their sheet metal parts by all means on the required deadline, intact. A very important condition to this is the right packaging.
