Our colleagues have developed an ingenious tool for identation of large series rivet nuts. The goal was to make this operation of retracting two types of rivet nuts to be productive and also fast.
Within the frame 4 sheet metal parts can be inserted together with the fasteners at such an angle that one can quickly retract the rivet nuts. There is no need to keep the sheet metal parts that are being prepared thus the extra time decreases. Also work is less is hard for colleagues.
In the case of 1500-2000 pieces per month production request, the fastening of 6 fasteners per part would take a long time to when done manually. Due to the monthly regular production demand, it was extremely important that this technological step takes approx. half the time it would take normally. After that, there is only the powder coating of the component to do in order to reach the full degree of completion.
