Being a company working with innovative, modern technologies, the support of the vocational education and the talent nurturing play a central role in our philosophy. For example, our cooperation with the Formula Racing Team of the Budapest University of Technology, which builds racing cars, has been ongoing for 7 years. With our sheet metal processing expertise and experience as well as the sheet metal parts we manufacture, we contribute to the team’s success in the Formula Student international competition series.
And for the second time, in 2022 we supported the National Solid Edge and Edgecam Competition organized by the Enterprise Group PLM division and the NCT Academy. The Enterprise Group, as a key player in the Hungarian CAD / CAM / PLM market, organized this event for the tenth time for full-time students.
For two years the competition was held as an online event because of the Covid epidemic, but students were finally able to take part in this year’s anniversary competition in person, with a record number of entries. Based on the results of the qualifiers, 32 applicants from 15 schools participated in the national final.
At the final challenge on April 8, students had to cope with CAD and CAM tasks based on real industry examples. The top performers were rewarded with valuable prizes thanks to sponsors, including Melior Laser.
