Melior Laser in e-scooter charging development project

Read on about the cooperation with Rollin, a startup company that develops electric scooter charging stations. The article was published on Enterprise Group website, as its software, Solid Edge, was a great help to us in the design and manufacture of the metal structures of the stations.

We are always eager to take part in interesting but challenging projects, whereby sharing our professional sheet metal fabrication knowledge and experience we can contribute to the creation of something new and progressive. This happened in the cooperation with Rollin Technologies startup. The team of undergraduates in Rolling set out to create efficient and orderly-looking e-scooter charging and docking stations to promote greener urban transport.

E-scooter charging stations

During the development, the first goal was to implement an electric scooter charging station based on inductive technology. Melior Laser designed and manufactured the metal structure of the stations using the design software Solid Edge (Enterprise Group), taking into account the manufacturing feasibility aspects.

A detailed description of the project and the joint work was published in the professional blog of the Enterprise Group's PLM business unit jointly written by Rollin, Enterpise Goup and Melior Laser.
