"Lola" the new race car of the BME Formula Racing Team, accelerates in 2.4 seconds from a standstill. For 7 years now that Melior Laser has been contributing to the success of the university team in the worldwide Formula Student race series with its sheet metal fabrication expertise and experience.

In 2019, we continued our cooperation with the racing team of BME (Budapest University of Technology and Economics) university students. This time we assisted in the building of an electronic self-driving race car with our sheet metal fabrication expertise and experience manufacturing sheet metal parts for this project.

Recently, once again we could contribute to another exciting project of the Technical University of Budapest with our sheet metal fabrication knowledge and machinery. This time we delivered lasercut and bent parts for a four-wheel-drive electric car developed by the Formula Racing Team of the University.
